FlexPAC® 101
FlexPAC® 101
- To reach the flexible packaging industry’s legislative and regulatory goals, we need policymakers in Washington, DC, and the states who understand the industry and our mission critical priorities such as extended producer responsibility, toxic bans, and product labeling.
- One of the most valuable tools we hold to educate and gain access to elected officials is FlexPAC® – the political action committee (PAC) of the flexible packaging industry.
- It takes money, people, and other key resources to run a successful business and it takes the same to win a campaign. FlexPAC® helps our industry support candidates for federal and state office in their effort to win elections and serve.
- PACs are one of the most transparent forms of political involvement that exist today. PACs are regulated by the Federal Election Commission and resources that come into a PAC, and flow out, must be disclosed publicly. You can learn more about FlexPAC’s® activities on our website: flexpac.org
- FlexPAC® is a bipartisan PAC. We are beholden to no political party. We support Republican, Democrat, and Independent candidates for state and federal office who will listen, collaborate and advocate on our behalf in Washington, DC, and in state capitols.
- FlexPAC® is a voluntary, member company executive-funded and directed PAC. The money raised is comprised of personal contributions from association member executives like you and me who understand that together, our collective voice is the most powerful and effective way to advance our advocacy agenda and protect the industry’s bottom line.
